Cleaning seats

Hey guys, I'm working on cleaning up my sister 06 Ls her seats and carpet are stained pretty bad, I've shampooed them and it helps but they still look dirty. Just wondering if anybody has found anything that will work. Thanks

idk how you're shampooing them but make sure you have a stiff scrub brush. If that's not working, find a powerful stain remover, obviously test it on an unnoticible spot first. If that doesn't work, you may need to resort to a heavy steam cleaner or go see a professional. Professional detailers have great carpet cleaners that can remove most stains (but not all, some things are just too heavy to remove)

I use "resolve" from walmart and a soft bristle brush and then wet cloth to wipe clean turning cloth often then dry towel and let dry in sun. good luck its a frugly job.

When you get done cleaning the carpet and seats, put the car's heat on full blast with the ac running and let it run for an hour or so. This will dry everything out and prevent the car from getting a wet/musty smell in it.

Ok thanks, I've been using one of those bissel green machines to shampoo it, some stains I just cant seem to get out. She has a three year old son if that paints a better picture haha. But ok ill probably try using resolve and see how it does

which is why you should have been patient and waited for the detailer to finish it. I absolutely HATE when customers do that to us, it really pisses me off.

I signed papers at 11am, they gave me the keys at 4pm. I was being patient. I told them to finish it and they said they did. By the time they gave me the keys, I asked them about the stains and they said they tried..... Which I know they did because the car was still a little dirty. I still had a 2 hr drive home so I was like skrew it, plus I didnt want to complain & make things worse.

fair enough then, I've seen a lot where they salesman will rip the car out from under me while the customer is signing the paper, that's what I expected when you said before they finished it. My apologies. Some stains just do not come out.

Ok well I ended up picking up some tuff stuff from autozone and it worked great. Just followed the directions and it got all stains out of the seats and the carpet. Took me a good chunk of the day but it looks really good. Thanks for the input guys

yeap a cloth you just wet it a lil bit and rub them a little bit after you let the Tuff stuff sit for about 3-5 mins , get a bucket of water so you can clean the towel every little bit, ud be surprised how much dirt will come out, then let the seats dry out for a bit then ur all set !

I used a full bottle for the front ones, so if you're doing the backs as well, get another bottle advanced auto has them for sale for 2 for 5bux
