Dishwash soap is perfectly safe for your clear coat. Just remember its NOT safe for your wax, it will strip your wax job off. (which you may want to do if the wax job is more than a month old)

i would personally just clay it or get a nice cleaner wax. stay away from dish soap unless you use a low amount of it. right now i use Mequire's three step wax. looks awesome. i need to do a nice hand detail but the weather hasn't let me do that for this year.

Dont listen to the noobies. I paint my car if I put even a scuff on the paint. Aot of it is paranoia by a bunch of tards. Use dishsoap to soften it up, mothers detailer + claybar and then mother's cleaner wax+ black magic's polish and if you want it to last up to 6 months (or 1 year if u have a garage) use a the FX polymer wax on top of the polish.

I use the brush and dont even care, however if hasnt scratched like these guys say. Then again, i repaint my hood if it even has a rock chip in it.

Least of your worries is dish soap ROFLCOPTER....god you guys cry wolf too many times. and i KNOW how cheap GM paint is......jesus.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
anyway whatever, ill take another pic when my lambo doors are done

DURRRr
You sir....are an idiot thx

Claybar + not loosened up dirt = pits in paint... god

Lies.... wont do it. This guy is just trying to be noticed. Even factory Clear coat wont even notice. Most scuffs are because people dont loosen dirt correctly like you do.
