Getting dye out of stitching?
So the previous owner somehow dyed the SS stitching in the seats red. Some of it has worn off on the drivers side. Anyone have an idea how to get it all out?

Alcohol

use some multi purpose cleaner(spray nine) and a tooth brush. soak the shyt out of it, use a rag to control the drip off, and scrub the crap out of it with a tooth brush. if you have some compressed air it may help drive it out. repeat as needed. it may take a few times before you get the majority of it. it also may never come completely out. if it dont work try a control dabbing with bleach and a rag. just try not to get it on the surrounding fabric/leather. if all else fails just redo with a sharpie.

Do you know how it was colored? Sharpie? Fabric dye?

Sharpie comes off with alcohol (use highest percent), or denatured alcohol and either a soft brush, or a credit card to rub lightly. Blot with a rag. Those options are free or cheap. Other choice is dye remover (can be bought where they sell Rit fabric dye) and same mechanical action. Give those a try.
