how to clean valve cover..?

Hey guys,

So, I was wondering.. My valve cover is all grimey.. I've scrubbed the engine bay a few times before, but the valve cover still always leaves me lacking.. I don't expect it to be all chrome or anything (since it isn't), but just clean would suffice.. It's got some of that white crust on it, and the dark grime where the coil-packs bolt down into..

Any products you'd suggest for a spray and scrub away application?

I don't need to to polish or anything, just scrub and clean it up.. I may get it painted down the road, but until then, I'd like it to just be a little cleaner..

Thanks!

Steel Wool and Mother's polish

Actually put the polish on the valve cover and scrub it around with the steel wool. Wipe it off. You will like the out come.

That's exactly what I used and it turned out great.
