is there such a thing to clean up scratches on the plastic inside the car? The glove box has some nasty ones on it. Maybe at least make them less noticeable.

 

You can try some 0000 steel wool, but be careful as it can change the appearance or texture of some plastics. I've used it plenty of times on interior details where people scuff the plastic on the base of the seat or door sills.
