I think you have learned a good lesson with this. You might try using white vinegar with a little bit of water on a cloth. It my not work in the first, but if you do it for a couple of days of will see the difference. Vinegar eliminates odors and smells . You can also try to put in a little jar some Baking Powder this also neutralizes odors.

I had this same problem in my truck then I got covers for the seats and well ruined those too. So I bought the cobalt and gave the truck to my brother. My brother now drives a mazda 3 lol
