polishing stock 17" rims to a mirrow finish?????
So my rims have a tone mini scratches and what not. whats the best way to get the rims looking like a mirror? Do i need to wet sand from 3oo grit all the way to 1500 grit and then get a metal polish and put so elbow grease into it?
Im more than likely gonna sand the whole rim and then paint the inside flat black and have the rest as shinny as can be. I know there are how to's for paint but i didn't find any for making them shinny. |

You've got the right idea. Start at 300 and go up. It's gonna take a while, but it's gonna be shiny as fuhhhh after you're done.

Not to jack the thread, but what would be the best thing to do for mild curb rash?

RandyO--- what would u recommend i do after sanding? wax it ? or????
the rims are aluminum so i guess any well know aluminum polish would do then a coast of wax? |
i would honestly wetsand them and either wax by hand or by a polishing wheel which would get you more of what you want
