Scuff Marks

A little while back I was driving after a bad storm and there was a tree branch sticking out into the road that I didn't see till it was too late and it rubbed down the sind of my car and made a few like scuff marks and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for how to remove them. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks:cssNET:

IMO Stright up, one off, custom paint job! really get it detailed

Thats all gonna depend on how deep they are you can just use a high speed buffer with a good cutting compound to remove the scuffs but after you compound you will need to glaze with a high speed buffer to bring back the shine to build up the clear coat because the compound will strip that down...if they are deeper wet sanding is an option also...anyone handy with a high speed buffer can do this for you safely.

WD40 and a rag takes awhile but it should get the job done

Thanks for the advice. I don't think they are real deep but i'll try and get a pic.

And sorry for posting in the wrong section:bye:

Try using an orbital buffer with some good polishing compound. Did that on my ride after a fucking shopping cart rubbed against it. The scuffs came right out. Meguires has some good stuff.
