Damn, bought the Turtle Wax ICE paste polish not 5 minutes ago. After reading some of these posts, I think I may return it and get the NXT paste.

I use Ice claybar then Ice Polish then Meguiar's NXT Tech wax. Cars black and it looks like new after. I don't think I'd try Ice wax though I just don't trust it

I ended up taking the Ice polish back because I only wanted wax. I got Turtle carnuba cleaner wax instead.

Yeah, I should've read even more into wax before returning the ICE and getting this turtle. I still haven't opened it, so I may go back and get the Meguiar's NXT Tech wax. Should I get the liquid or the paste?

I use the paste. Wax it in the shade with the applicator pad that comes in the package. Let it sit for 20-30 mins, then get rid of the excess wax with a microfiber cloth or something similar and you'll see a wet shine underneath. I sat and stared at my car for a good 15 mins the first time I did it lol.

Best way to do this, pre-wash your car with ICE car wash, then wash it down with ICE liquid clay bar ( smooths out the swirl marks and pits ), then shine it up with ICE liquid polish.

$60 for the whole setup.

NOTE ice will leave streak marks if you aren't careful. However washing, clay barring, and polishing my car took me 2 hrs for perfection.

Waxing alone takes 3 - 3.5 done right

ALSO NOTE THAT LIQUID POLISH IS NOT WAX IT IS A POLISH FOR A SHINE. SO IF YOU SKIP THE CLAY BAR AND THE WAX AND ONLY POLISH YOU BASICALLY JUST MADE YOUR CAR SHINY. SO EITHER WAX AND POLISH OR CLAY BAR AND POLISH

END NOTE

ICE IS AWESOME.

I don't have any pics because to be honest I rushed the wax and there are some streaks, but the parts I did right came out amazing. I washed the car then I used the Turtle Wax Polish over the whole car, let it dry, then i used Meguiar's Gold Class Wax to finish it off, the paint looks sooooooooo deep. Alone the Turtle Wax Polish isn't bad, but when paired with the wax it does a really great job.

I wish I kept count of how many people told me that. I've even fallen for it once.

Why are you people considering using a paste wax? They suck. A liquid will go on easier and spread easier.

I would like to retract my previous statement. I tried it again and took more care in applying it, basically using a bit more product than I had last time.

Here are the results; I'm very happy with it:
