I ONLY use Meguires products on my cars, have for years. I used to work in Pep Boys and tried every brand out there and the Meguires gives the best finish for the amount of work and cost.

The wax MUST be carnuba! The man made stuff may shine a little more but it will NOT last as long. Besides the carnuba smells sooooo good!

Id go with the meguiars stuff, I always have luck with their stuff. Try their NXT tech wax, its the ****!!!! Some synthetic waxes may not last very long but carnauba waxes dont last very long either. I dont mind waxing every month if its worth the look.

yes, especially if you use the clay bar. Plus you will notice it is much easier to clean afterwards and wax protects your paint. So do it!!!!

LOL u are right about the smell.
Kind stupid question but the cleaner wax that comes in the meguires kit needs to be waxed over with another wax. If so thats why my wax never lasted long lol.

not necessarily but it is a very good idea. Its supposed to be a one step product so you can clean and protect in one step. Any of those including Meguiars that I have used though always work better with a seperate dedicated wax afterwards.

The cleaner wax is just a paint cleaner its not really a wax. Think of it as a liquid clay bar. Once you clean it then you polish it to make it shine, then you wax it to seal in that shine.

Does that help any?

And yes the Carnuba smells great! It actualy makes me hungry putting it on!
