wheels losing color :(

So yesterday I washed and waxed my car. It shines like it just came out .of the factory! but sadly my wheels are no longer black. They're dull and are starting to look faded black :/ they killing the look on my car lol.. but I was wondering if there is any thing to get their color back. Or will I have to repaint?

I think the sun ate up the color on my wheels since we been having 100 plus degree weather :/

you can polish them just like polishing paint. Or you can get them powdercoated and it'll last forever.

I was thinking repaint or polish but it might be hard to polish them since they're aftermarket aluminum alloy rims.. I try to get a pic tomorrow and compare it with one of them that has been inside my house for a while cuz I got a flat and no one has a tire for my rims

if they are a brushed aluminum, then take some steal wool and compound to them things. or you can go buy some aluminum polisher stuff,i forget what its called, dont forget the elbow grease cause youll need it!
