I'm agreed with the above about the wipers, and to further your chances at winning I'd suggest CLEANING your car, and learning how to use your camera for good pics. A nice background will help too. Either that or more neons to flood the picture with so much light you can't tell a difference...then hope to **** ricers flood the forum to vote in the next month.

yeah i know i should probably have some better pics but i have to get a chance to get some better ones and as far as cleaning that is an old pic and like i said i know the wipers look stupid now but i dont know if i am going to spend more money to get new ones just cause of the color and about the underglows my camera cant pick em up to good and im not the only one that has em on their cobalt trust me so that doesnt mean im ricing it out so if you dont like my car then keep it to yourself because other people like so your opinion doesnt really matter to me.

I will post new pics when i get a chance and find a good place to take some

Other Cobalts may have neons, but that doesn't mean it isn't rice. It is on any car. Anyway, this is the internet, you gotta take the good comments with the bad, not everyone is going to love your ****.

Haha, at least you took it in stride, you should check some of the other Submission threads where I voiced my blatant opinion. Props man.

That's just a ridiculous statement... thats like saying every high rise spoiler is rice.... and i know alot of people who think that...

To the OP, your car looks nice, I love the color, i love that the font in the windshield decal and 3rd brake light fonts match. I think it may be a little early to enter car of the month. I would suggest some springs, and removing the exterior trim. Definitely going in the right direction... +rep for you

You can't compare lighting that serves no purpose but for show to a part of a car that is functional in its original form. Spoilers serve a mechanical purpose, if you know fluid dynamics you already know this. However, applying one with no aerodynamic properties on a car that doesnt obtain velocity for it to be an effective tool is useless, thus rice.

Ummm I'm aware. I'd rather build a car for functionality and driving, not parking and looking at it. Also, I'm on a few racing forums, as well as local drag racing forums. Why do you limit racing to just drag? No road racing or auto-x love?

well if your goal is to have a show car than i imagine that neons are much more functional for your purpose...

... and BTW that floppy high rise spoiler is not very functional. in fact if you talk to some of the hardcore track guys you will notice that they remove the spoiler since it "spoils" the air flow and aerodynamics of the car.

If every part for every car had to be functional there would be no halos, no color options for halos, no 50lbs 20" rims. no one would paint interior of there cars, upgrade the stereo components, or tint the windows unless they truly have eye problems.

I know the factory Cobalt wing is not functional. It was never properly R&D'd, and it is aesthetic. I was never talking about this spoiler. Think supercars, cars that have been wind tunneled for aerodynamics.

Your second part of your post proved my point. Nobody needs halos (I assume you're talking headlights), nobody needs heavy, chrome, 20" wheels, painted interiors, or upgraded stereo equipment, especially heavy subs. So, thank you very much for your cooperation.

Better pics, I see it's clean this time. You plan on keeping the front plate holder with no plate?

i am planning on getting lowering springs but right now i dont have the money and when i bought my rims i was told by professionals that if i go to an 18" or higher i will get a lot of side wall bulge and i can bend my rims on potholes very easily and i wasnt gonna deal with that crap and i dont plan on slamming it to the ground.

I can help you out with that! Get a drill bit slightly larger than the middle of the rivit. Proceed to drill it out carefully, it will leave little holes where the rivits were but you can find alot of different things to plug the holes with, then just use touch up paint to cover them and you wont be able to tell unless you get real close!
