I can tell you now, if you use slicks, you will bog if you launch around 2-3K rpms. Not sure about drag radials. But slicks you just need to do a good 2nd gear burnout, and then launch around 4K+ rpms. You'll launch REALLY hard and you'll get 12's with your trap speed for sure. If I can break 12's on less than 250whp and less than 220wtq, which I am EXTREMELY confident that I can, then you better with all that extra power you have.

also i'd rather just do a quick burnout in 1st gear. then go up to the line and slowly pull off the line with 1k rpm's or a little more then slowly go off the line then middle of 1st start giving more throttle then maybe tip top end punch it shift to 2nd then spit hot fire all through 2nd and pray everthing goes right.

 

With slicks, put it in 2nd gear once the tires are in the water box, dump the clutch, get some smoke going. Proceed to the line and launch hard. Hold on to your panties. Launching really low on slicks won't net you faster times cause you will bog really hard. Might as well stay on street tires.

i don't really get what you mean? if your talking about dyno numbers i already know i have higher ones than redline. i already know i have a better looking car. i already know my car is faster. i already know i have better 1/4 times. i also know i trap higher than him. his excuse is he lives in florida and if he was to come to nj he would have higher trap speeds. well then he shouldn't have a problem driving here and proving his point. this is info you can find out from the people on this site who are smart or know what i run now. i don't bother with him anymore as he knows from other people now that i am faster. he can even go snoop around and find my new dyno sheets and quarter mile times and higher better trap speeds than he has put down. as i know i am truly better
