Unhappy HELP!!!...just got into an axident...need new bumper

Hey guys...do to my stupidity and a concrete block...I just ripped off my back bumper. Its mainly the back lip that comes with the GM body kit for the SS/SC. I need to either find a complete bumper replacement...or try and find another GM body kit lip. If you guys know where I can find a good back bumper replacement please let me know. I have been looking but all the ones I found have the dual exhaust crap. Right now I am pissed...upset...and I dunno...its a sad day

Insurance for sure... at least the lip kits aren't really all that expensive.

I can fix it myself...I know how to do mild body work...Ill just have to get it painted somewhere else. If I file with the insurance Ill just pocket the money and fix it myself. Its not that bad. here are some pics. I just need a back lip. It bent my freaking exhaust a bit. Do you guys know where I can order a GM kit or where I can get a good after market body kit replacement??

I was washing my car...just got done waxing it as well. I go to back out of the car wash... There was a concrete block that use to be a light pole. I didn't see it at all. It was just low enough I couldn't see it. I start back up and crunch... :-(

Your exhaust looks messed up too. I'd make sure you didn't damage that as well. Whats your deductible for your insurance? Getting a pre-painted bottom lip for your car probably won't be estimated over something like a $500 deductible.

I think I found it and I went ahead and ordered it. The part was $106. I hope it was the right one. It said lower extention and it was under bumper so I figured it was right. If I can get all the stuff myself I can do it. Its just a clip on deal. All I need is a little touch up paint and it should all be good...going to have to take my exhaust off and beat it back straight :-/

Yeah I am in the process of ordering one. The funny thing is I find the best prices online. All the dealerships I have went to personally try and rip me off. Fred Beans parts is the best site I have found for ordering factory parts for the cobalt. They have great customer service and great prices :-)
