Tidewater BBQ, 8/16

Date changed to August 23rd.

As posted in the big Tidewater thread, I would like to invite everybody to my house for a BBQ and wrencher (if the weather allows for working in the driveway).

Time: 3pm (15.00 hours for you military people)
Address: 3208 Bromay Street, Chesapeake, VA 23321
Directions: From Newport News, take 664 across the river via MMBT. Exit a Pughsville Road (~3rd exit), exit right (going west) onto Pughsville Road. Bromay is the second street on the right. Turn right (if you are using a GPS it will tell you to turn left. It is wrong). 3208 is the 3rd house from the corner on the right. Just look for the single story house between the 2 two story homes.

From the Southside, take 664 north towards the MMBT. Take the Pughsville Road exit and turn left onto Pughsville. Bromay is the second street on the right. My house is the 3rd on the left. Just look for the single story home.

I'm asking that everybody sign up to bring something. This will also allow us to have a count of how many people are attending. Feel free to post up here. I will try to keep this thread updated. Even if you are not able to bring something, please feel free to attend. Any contribution will help out. This will be a great way for everybody to meet each other again.

I want to apologize to everybody who is thinking about attending this bbq. Regretfully, I have to change the date. I can not do it the day of the 16th as I will be out of town the whole weekend, and on my way to Utah for family reasons. I will be gone the 15th-18th. However, I do not want to cancel this. Instead, I want to change the date. Which day is better for everybody? I can do it the week before (8/9), or the week after (8/23). I'm sorry if this has caused any inconvenience for anybody. This is beyond my control.

Connor,

My vote is for the 23rd.

BTW, I've got stuff left over from the last G2G. Half the burgers (in freezer), 1 pk. hot dogs, an unopened bag of chips and some drinks that I'm saving.

Just what you said you'd bring. I was referring to people like Danew and Steve, who have both told me they were coming. I think Moe said he was coming to, and I forget if Cesar said he's coming also.

Sorry man, it was scheduled for the 16th, but I had a last minute trip that takes me to Utah pop up. If there was a way around it I would have tried to keep the day the same.

If you have any suggestions I am willing to listen. If things change for you on the 23rd, feel free to stop by.

If I get that Sunday off I'll head over to meet some of you, sounds like a good time, I'd like to see some of the 'balt aftermarket up close and maybe ride in the OTTP S1 as that's my next purchase.

I'm not familiar with that intake, but I'd be willing to help out. I get off work at 4 tomorrow, and have friday off. You can also post for help in the big Tidewater thread you already posted in.

That'll be a very simple install, after we remove the stock airbox. I'll listen for your call around 5.
