Need information on A Arms
So after attempting to move the SS after putting in the new strut the brand new CV Axle I put in failed an I mean FAILED. It ripped apart with a loud bang blew through the cv boot. I was going 30km just switching into 3rd. Soo I'm going to replace the Lower Arms (FE5) bought two brand new ones for left an right. The reason why I'm replacing the A Arms is because I think the one that blew the CV Axle is out enough to compromise the integrity of the part. Or it was defective. So can somebody show with pictures how to properly remove the A Arms.
P:S if this doesn't work its a new engine cradle to fix the alignment.
P:P:S the Passenger Wheel is back half an inch

That's what I'm thinking I looked at the a arm an it looks bent. I can't believed I missed it on the look around I guess I was more focused at looking at the strut then anything. Do you know anything on how to remove the A ARM?. I'm also replacing the broken CV an the sway bar linkage on both sides

I was working outside it was a nice day out so why not. But that's what I found when I took the wheel off cv axle is definitely done ripped apart an bearings are thrown every where only found 2 of them. The pulley attached to the crank got hit by the cv. Doesn't look like real damage engine still sounds good. An there's no knock or anything so I got really lucky there. An yes the sway bar linkage is removed I got new ones ordered as well. I need help now because when trying to remove the bolt holding the a arm to the carriage the nut that is welded into the carriage broke free so what do I have to do now to get it free an out

You're going to have to drop the cradle: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/susp...shings-301627/

I will make sure to tie it off then .The bushing is seized to the bolt so that makes it a pain. All the other bolts came out nice an easy so that's good. I'm just going to try something on that bushing an see if it works.

I replaced the strut before cause I thought that's what was wrong but it wasn't. I asked the seller if it was an they said yes it's the correct one. I'm going to be checking the knuckle today. I'm getting tired of pulling the same wheel off day after day. What is your measure for your wheel to center? So I can compare the two
