Super budget build Redline

Ok so I managed to get another redline recently. It's literally stock as can be. I paid 1k for it. I thought to myself. Drive it til it does? Sure. But let's mod it.
I got the crazy idea of modding it on a smallll budget. I have my blue cobalt and well that car I don't worry what things cost. I just pay lol. This car. Ehhhh
sp that being said.

I already registered it and insured. Currently parting out a SC cobalt so I have some upgrades for it.

04 Redline
114k miles
cost 1k

The car currently needs a clutch. It's gone. Like. It's done for. It's only good to drive and not beat on.
The IC pump needs some wiring work. No biggie.
CEL for upstream O2. Car came with an extra o2 free.
Has opt B installed with dual pass, front mount.

Ordered some used injectors a few days ago
60# for 60$
ordered a 2.8 pulley. 20$
hub is incoming with the 60# injectors free.

so far. 1,080$ total.
I found a brand new stage 2 belt in 1 of the red Cobalt's I parted out. Free belt .

Here is the secret to my budget build. Here is the donor car that is going to give me the motor mounts. The front and rear brake setup. I'll make them fit. Car also has BRAND NEW BC coils. Imma swap them with my original BC coils. These have less than 500 miles. Mines have 2k miles. A difference of 1.5k miles so I'll take it.
The motor I don't know what to do yet. Waiting on a word I need to hear. The trans is for sale. LSD lnf trans baby. 68k miles. On the odometer.
Budget build will be going.
I gotta check the clutch on this lnf. If it's good. I'm slapping it onto the redline.

Yeah. I can fix it no issues. The value of the car won't b there. Unless it's sentimental value which I don't have. Once I get what I need. The car is getting parted out.

So got a little bored today after working all day. Decided to swap the seats. This is my 3rd time doing a redline to SS seat swap or vice versa. Basically like many owners know , the seat belt buckle has different plugs. On my blue SS I transferred the buckle over from leather to recaro seats so the plug goes in. This time. Since I have 3! Sets of blue recaro. I decided to do it a little easy. I cut the pigtail of the scrap lnf and cut the pigtail of the worst recaro seats I got and spliced them together. Made a jumper harness. It's only a 2 wire plug. So now they are direct bolt on without modifying anything. The finished product of the ion redline SS edition.

Total price : 0$!!!! Hell yeah!

So decided to transfer over the used cable clamp. Was a bitch to get on. Like horrible. But it's on. Put on the nice shift boot. Definitely compliments the car.

That car is coming out nice! If you even flipped it I'm sure you could make even more money
