atmospheric Bypass valve

When I bought the car, it all ready had the atmospheric bypass on it. Yesterday I got the code p2261. Now I have found forms saying to by pass the solenoid, and none have photos.

Also, several have said that the car needs to be tuned for it. The car had a trifecta tune. Last weekend I swap out the ECM with one from ZZP. When I order it I did mention it had an external blow off. Is there a chance the swap could of caused this?

It seems like the most obvious problem. You can't try swapping back?

You definitely need to be tuned for it. If you don't have a maf relocate your car will hate it as your releasing metered air.

Well I switch ECM back and after a couple hundred miles no code. So I am assuming it's the tune. The MAF is in the stock location. Can I move it to the intercooler pipe with out a tune?

what spring are you running? I ran the yellow spring for about ~1 year on MAF tune and the car ran fine. I know Term had to mess with some **** to get it to run ok. I ended up getting p0101 multiple times so I relocated the MAF.

nah thats a Forge Atmospheric BOV. its got two springs usually, green or yellow. you'd have to take it apart to know which one you have.

Well I got around to taking it apart and I have green springs. In the process I found oil in the bottom part of my intake.

Don't worry about that, it's from the crankcase ventilation at the top of the intake.
