Should I get this 2010 cobalt ss?

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/t-Used...ting=229318476 Hey guys! Im a new member and was directed here from reddit! So I was looking at this 2010 cobalt ss and it looks real good, its priced at 9k and has 87k miles on it. I havent rode in it yet but the car fits all of my needs. Just looking for advice, is it even worth it with the mileage attached to the car (and the price)? Is it and will it be reliable? When I asked this question on reddit i got mixed answers. What should I look out for? How can I lower the price lol? I do want it to be my daily driver, plus I live in NJ where it rains and snows so I do have to take this into consideration. Peep the listing and tell me what you guys think. Anyways thanks!

That's really not that bad of a price from a dealer. It's got a few blemishes and the motor looks dirty but other than that the car looks to be in good shape. With close to 90,000 miles I would offer $7800 and see if they bite on it. Looks like it was tuned and who knows who owned it or how they drove it. Overall it's a clean car. Make sure it shifts ok and doesn't have any misfires.

Take a scan tool with you check for any "not ready" emission monitors and pending dtcs, lots of times dealers will erase codes and drive it just enough to pass emissions before the light comes back on. These cars are hit or miss. You can have a really good one or have one that just falls apart at the seems and the freezer door on your fridge is filled with rockauto magnets from buying tons of parts. Scan it, drive it, and ask them to put it on a lift for you so you can make sure there is no major oil leaks.

And also see if there is any maintenance records on it. Turbo cars can be a nightmare of the oil was not changed regularly
