It was fun guys. Sold the LNF
So after 7 years and too much money I decided to sell the cobalt for a 2017 wrx. Paid 20k for it with 25k miles. I already miss the power the lnf made but damn the WRX is comfortable. I know I wasn't the most active here but I've always lurked and remember a lot of the OG's like rice, staged07, and mrbelvedere who sold me my transmission for a great price.
Anyway here's some pics
And the Balt looking dirty the day I traded her

I will always miss the raw power of 3rd gear and how good the cobalt was all around. If I hadn't needed to get a car that would need to log trips on the interstate as one of its main priorities I would have got a wrx. I'm really happy with the comfort of my fusion. It's not a great handling car but it drives nice and awd from a dead stop is freakin awesome. I will be tuning mine soon and installing an intercooler and that should put me in the 12.50-12.70 1/4 mile time, then I will probably leave it alone. Should also do well in the winter.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. As far as this being a good platform for making power, I'm not so sure. The FA20 compared to the lnf doesn't take to mods as easily. I will most likely be at 300 whp with fbo and a tune. A little underwhelming but launching from a stop feels amazing as of now without any mods.

Royce- if you want a comfortable driving car, check out the fusion. It's a big comfortable car, but it's got tons of space, active shocks in sport mode, and no one thinks it's fast, like a cobalt. You can get a low mileage 17-18 awd for under $26k. The list below contains the top 1/4 mile times and most of the top 10 only have a tune, a few have an aftermarket intercooler, but not many. Don't have to do much and it can still get 30mpg in the highway.

Got new wheels and tires. Avid1 av20 in 18x9.5 +38. They fit perfect on 255/35. Gonna wait before lowering since I think it looks good without.

What's with people buying Subaru's lol
Car looks great man! I was a bet reluctant to get a Subaru as well, especially a used STI but I absolutely adore my car, the community is a bit cult-ish but super helpful and winters are a total riot!
love the rims as well!
power downgrade does suck though, they're not as fast as people seem to think they are, stock anyways
