My 2005 lsj cobalt loses power steering after straightening the wheel for too long so I am constantly moving my steering wheel so I don’t lose power steering. Any ideas of what’s going on?

If you know somebody with a nice scanner they can probably pull codes from the bcm or steering module.

I honestly have never dealt with a problem like yours but it sounds like maybe a bad steering angle sensor.

That code is for the power steering motor circuit. Most likely the motor is going bad but it is also possible either the control module is failing or the steering column gears have excessive slack. How many miles are you at?

I have 147000kms and nothing seems like it has slack or makes any noises just no power steering if I have my wheel straight for more then 3 seconds roughly
