I am getting about 10L/100km( only a 1000k on my SS so far). I have a question for you or anyone else that watches the mileage/fuel economy readout on the DIC. Mine does not seem to change from 9.5 to 9.6/100. I know for sure mine is not getting this mileage.
My Impala's readout change by the type of driving I did. Mine reads 9.5/100 in the city when running slow and I watched the readout when I took it out for it's 800k break-in run on the highway(3:30 am) and when the speedo said 220kph the fuel readout still said 9.5.
Whut's up with that?

Just filled up my Cobalt SS/SC on Sunday and received a FUEL RANGE of 375 miles on the DIC. Very surprising, seeing how I usually get about 315 miles and have seen it as low as about 265 miles.
I have about 1,425 miles on my car so maybe that has something to do with the bigger range of fuel. The more mileage, the more "broke in" the car is.

I'm getting around 250 - 275 miles consistently on every tanks with about half and half city and highway miles. Had the car 3 weeks and put almost 1,500 miles on it already.

Jesus.. you guys must romp all over the place.
All of my tanks so far have ranged between 26-30mpg for the entire tank.
I have gotten around 350-360 miles per tank before I fill up. The DIC yesterday told me 411 miles for the FUEL RANGE immediate after fill.
One interesting note is the number it gives me after fillup has been steadily going up. I wonder how it derives that number. It was about 368 on my first fill and has gone up about 10 miles each time.

Depending on my driving, I'm looking 6.3L/100km on the highway and about 9.4L/100km in town, though this heat wave is killing the gas mileage having to have the A/C and air recycle on all the time. Right now it's hovering at 8.7L/100km and that's counting 1/4 tank highway and 1/4 tank in town.
I keep resetting it on each tank of gas since I've only been driving standard for 1.5mths and I still over-rev on occasion but those numbers seem to be pretty consistent (maybe I need a "clutch wear-o-meter ). The highest I've seen it was 10.2L/100km during the second week I had it when it was consistently 40C for the week.
I'm averaging about 420km/tank but have never emptied it past the 1/8th mark...though it typically tells me I can get 500km/tank after filling up...maybe one day I'll run it as close to dry as I can and hope to god I'm near a gas station when I do...if it's anything like the cavalier when the check gas light comes on I have about 20km left in the tank.

how many miles do you actually have left when it just says low fuel? I usually fill it right when the light comes on because I can't tell if im going to run out or not.

I get between 450-480km per tank in my 2009 SS/TC. If I'm not boosting to 24 everywhere I go and driving like a mad man. If I drive like I want to and have fun I get about 350km-400km per tank.
