any one planning on going to deals gap to run the 318 turns in 11 miles? if you havent heard of it check out tailofthedragon.com i am there every weekend riding my 02 r1 so if anybody is headed over let me know.

That road is soooo much fun!! I've been there twice so far, once with my Dad's RX8 club, once just "passing by" in my Mom's Nissan Quest on our way to Ohio. Believe it or not, but we had three bikers holding us up in the minivan, they were going way too slow on such a fun road

I'M from FL but have been there twice so far.. But the road is US 129 and its nicknamed the Tail of the Dragon. Its located right on the border of North Carolina, most of it in Tennesse. Deal's Gap (I think) is a name of one of the turns, which also has a cool motorcyle shop off to the side. They also have a big parking lot for car clubs or for hundreds of motorcycles to meet up and take pictures. Deal's Gap also features the Tree of Shame. Ive drivin through there !!!!! but in the murano no fun
