I would be interested in seeing a 'functional' cowl induction hood.

This would benefit the non SS/SC more however, as it would bring in cooler air to an engine bay mounted intake.

Something I also think would be cool if if you could rig up some kind of "rocker scoop".

ram air hood for the ss. something like the nostrils on the 98 Trans am's or the ram air on the grand am's. it has to be balanced not one off to one side.

i know its a picky request but that is what i am looking for.

love to see what you come up with

Impractical, but a fender scoop would be interesting. Take air from an opening or a scoop on the fender, and direct it right into the airbox.

maybe something like the extractor hoods on the cavys... getting air into the engine isnt a problem, but maybe given it a more direct path out can prevent heatsoak... maybe.

ok well there is a ss hood out there but i would definately want to see the trans am ram air hood. i think it would make the car look really nice and you should team up with a company that can make a short ram so that it would be functional.

Maybe a little closer together, lower profile(high enough to put SuperCharged badges on it), and further down the front of the hood??

Just my 2 cents worth..

make the scoops on that fab'ed GTP hood further part but closer to the air box and smaller scoops .That would be pimp.

Or get a extractor hood with a vent on each side but make the driver side one functional to suck air in. That would look mean too.

I'd love to see something along these lines:

Seems like a lot of people want a scoop in the front. I'd pay to get something along these lines

That's pretty nice, very low profile.

i'd like something like this, maybe not so much of a subtle hight increase, and maybe just one wide opening instead of nostrils.

Look at the stock cobalt hood and follow the lines. An EXTRACTOR hood is the only hood for this car. I believe gravana has one in development and it's going to be worth waiting for. Whoever makes that hood will have the number 1 selling hood for our cars, trust me.

If you build it, they will come......................................

I am all about the 272 concept hood with the slightly offset scoop that would work into an air box.

If you would consider a design simular to that it would have more vote.

Totally, I would buy one of the first.

Maybe it will be worth partnering with a company that can make airbox to fit on the 2.0 to go with the hood.
