an issue thats bothering me re: vendors

ive been noticing more and more of this as time goes on. now i know the vendors do pay a lot of money to advertise on this site however all i seem to see in the last while is when someone has, lets say a clutch problem, a vendor will just jump in and basicly say "this is what you should buy from me". the other thing i keep seeing is when someone recomends a product a vendor will chime in and says its garbage and that they should buy part X from them. now i have no problem when a specific product is being discussed and a vendor chimes in saying they have it on sale/group buy, but i feel when they go to the measures they turns this forum into one big ad for them. i myslef would perfer to see the advertising kept to the vendor section, group purchase section and threads discussing were to get a specific product (ie: "were to get spec stage 2 clutch," not threads like "what clutch should i get")

i dunno, it just really bothers me for some reason when i see people recomendeing good products (an average forum member with good knowledge of what they recomend) and you have a vendor come in saying that the recomended product is crap, but what they sell is much better (sounds like all they are trying to do is make a buck at any cost, even cutting down other vendors).

ive been on a few different forums that have paying vendors, but vendors cutting down other products just to sell their own stuff was frowned upon, and for the most part selling of products was kept in the marketplace (like regular forum members are required to do here).
