With the current ongoing spam of gay ****, it is obvious that there is a, although sporadic, lack of admins to keep immature little sh*ts out like the ones that are here right now.

It's almost going on 30 minutes that these guys have been allowed to trash our forums. Not one admin is on the forums or AIM to contact, so these kids are free to do whatever they please.

It's unfortunate.

 

it's not unfortunate... it's ******* bullshit... i know you're not "allowed to talk about mods" but i mean this is ******* rediculous... there should be at LEAST ONE mod on at all times... i have a guitar forum with thousands of members, and any spam that gets on is instanly deleted because i make sure my mods are on during the day... if they can't be on, then it's time to get new mods... some of us are on here all day long, contribute regularly, and don't start any problems... if the current mods are not available then it's something to be looked at and appropriate action should be taken...

how do you sign up to be a moderator? I'm on here everyday, almost all day cuz my job gets boring. It would give me something to do.

 

You can track his IP as well with submission of content could get his internet banned from his ISP. Of course I doubt they would go that far but it can happen.

It's a bit more complicated than having your IP address alone to "hack" into your computer...but it is very much do-able with the right knowledge and tools...those clowns are bluffing..but Selfinfliction is a computer genius lol, so I'm sure he knows or has connections. Not saying at all that he would do it to you or anyone who didn't deserve it.

we have so many admins and I really havent seen any of them post in a WHILE and I mean a WHILE. there are admins with only like 300 posts, I really think those should be replaced with people who come to this forums more than 5 times a day at least.

 

agreed, its useless to try, i pmed one mod hoping to see if he can help, too bad i cant o much im looged in from 830 to 5, then most of the night i check randomly...

I'm here pretty much 1 time a day, but that 1 time i stay for the whole day, I'm addicted to this place.

 

With the right knowledge and software/hardware yes they can provided you have weaker computer... Make sure all your stuff is up to date, Windows, IE, virus scans and you should be ok

im here to help however i can.....with the ip address its really hard to do anything unless they are really on their game. this is not 1998 when hacking was as simple as a click of a button. Make sure your firewall is up and they will detect if someone trys to access your computer. Hacking is pretty much extinct with ip addresses.

 

I'd volunteer if it's something they really need assistance with. I can deal with useless posts but when pictures like the ones shown are all over the place it starts becoming aggrivating.

 

i always wanted to be a mod but didtn know who to contact or how to do it, id do it in a sec just to help prevent this **** man, lil kids coulda been lookin at that garbage then show their parents.....man people ae so sick.
