Lack of owner admins

Am I correct in noticing that the only mod/admin that owns a Cobalt is tomj77? Seems like there is a serious lack of dedicated owners in that role...

I'm not trying to diminish the knowledge that previous owners have, but if they don't own the car anymore it's debatable how motivated they are to come to the site. I mean, it's pretty obvious riceberns spends all his time in vwvortex or something

That is a good point. I don't know what is all required in being a mod, but I'm usually on CSS multiple times throughout the day.

Just reminder that the best way to get a moderator's attention is to report a post, including your own. Include what you would like done and it will be reviewed. Thanks.

Interesting concept. I know our admins still love the platform though. I don't think its a necessity to still own the car to love the community.

Hell Back in the day when it first started DC5 was a mod and he owned a Honda/Acura.

I just want someone to try and stop the useless bumps on ancient threads. Mostly by members with 3 or 4 posts.

A fresh set of admins would be nice! I've been visiting this site almost daily since 2011 I didn't even make a account till 2013 lol But it's true I don't see the amount of admins I use to simply because life, it happens. There are some new members the past year or so that have probably never even seen half of them active.

But what if I want to bump a 4 year old thread to express how funny I thought a comment was on page 4 of a 20 page thread? What ever will I do??

I agree. I'm really not on here frequently enough to qualify myself, but I can think of plenty of folks that would!

honestly I don't mind having people digging up old ass threads since they actually tried to research and find existing info/knowledge.

That is much better than the alternative of starting new threads and getting bashed for not searching, or going on Facebook and begging for information.
