Turtle wax black box. Its carnuba blend was especially made for black cars. You can also try meguiar's swirl remover. It works... And I'm telling u cuz that's what I use and I use to work at a carwash

Everybody's input is spot on.

A porter cable would be nice to invest in once you get the cash.

$120 new. About $100 used.
Figuring that's a little less than a professional detail, you could learn how to do it yourself and save the cash every year, besides supplies.

U can use "goo gone" or "goo off" for the tar. Let it sit there for a while before u remove tar. Then u can use clay bar

I see a lot of people recommending the black box, i don't. Black box lasts about 2 weeks before the **** starts to flake off. I will never buy this crap again.

Use mothers fx synwax, or meguiars NXT techwax 2.0. They both are much higher quality and last longer than that turtle wax garbage. I prefer the Mother's since its a bit cheaper than the meguiars but works just as nice.

the 'black box' is a nice looking wax/polish kit that sell at autoparts stores, look up on youtube theres sum good comparison vids that show how it works... its night and day if u split it down the middle like on a hood for instance, one sides all hazy and dull the black box side is midnight black and shiny as can be

^ thats not a bad price. you could probably find cheaper, but the quality may not be as good.

I bought the Mothers Wax attack kit with the clay bar kit and it is pretty good. It includes a random orbital buffer, power polish and power wax. Clay the car, use the power polish in the kit and then the power wax also supplied. I didn't use the power wax as I used the glaze and carnuba wax from their ultimate wax system to finish the car. It took most of the little spider scratches off of the car. I'd recommend that. It was $100 with the clay bar kit included. It was really easy to use.

If you car is actually full of tar, I would recommend calling your insurance agent, that **** isn't ever going to come out of the carpet.
