Thumbs up Fry's Electronics in Wilsonville, OR rocks!

So I wanted to write my review of my experience with Fry's Electronics install bay in Wilsonville, Oregon.

In two words: LOVED IT!

Now from the beginning, I wanted to install a Clifford or Viper alarm and remote start. It's a common knowledge that our cars are difficult to wire up, especially the clutch bypass and sometimes the immobilizer, since the resistance for the bypass has to be measured for every vehicle.

I took it to Car Toys in Tigard first. While they were very knowledgeable, they couldn't get it to start via remote start. Two days and 12 hours of labor later, they ended up removing the system completely.

I started calling around, and came across Fry's. I didn't even know they had installers until last week. I talked to their lead installer, David Sabrowski, about what I wanted done, and he knew exactly what I wanted and how to make it happen. He got in touch with DEI (manufacturers of Clifford and Viper alarms) to make sure he had every diagram he needed. He even came in an hour before his shift to make sure he'd get it done that same day.

There was a glitch with the install because Car Toys spliced into the wrong wire and left it there, but Dave was able to have that resolved within 15 minutes. They were also wired up a window control module that allows me to vent, open, and close all the windows from the aftermarket alarm remote.

I would definitely bring my car back to these guys for any future installs (possibly a sunroof module, and remote possibility of a laser radar deflector install in the future).

I would also definitely recommend him to my friends, family, and my fellow CSS members if you're within driving distance to theses guys!

Sure. I'll be taking my car back for the sunroof to get wired up to open with the windows.

95% of the times it's not the place, it's the installer. I found one that could actually figure out our car, so I posted it on here...
