Car Troubles

Not for my cobalt but for my wife's car. The AC compressor needs to be replaced but I can honestly say I have never had to take one off. Starters are one thing but AC Compressors require the serpentine belt to be removed and I honestly have no idea where to start with this.

I'm in the SE Area of Lawton, OK if anyone local isn't doing **** and would like to show me / help me do this, Text or call me @ 817-600-9261

My wife is pregnant and I want my cobalt back because 110* weather sucks without AC!

Have you gotten the refridgerant evacuated from the system yet? You can't take anything apart until you do.

Yes R134a isn't as bad for the ozone as R12 is. You can remove any part of the system without evac'ing it. It's done already. Saved about $700. Bottom Line was $320 with a new Shrader valve and a evac, purge and recharge.
