well guys it has been like 5 weeks, but finallly i have the beast back!!! it looks great and you cant even tell that the wheel was messed up, they refinished it perfectly. ill come out to a meet soon and show everyone. now i just need to find out how to get the pulley put on, im not sure i wanna spend all that money on the pulley puller just to use it once... any ideas???

 

Rent a puller. You can rent it from BilletFlow for like $50 I think.

go to one of those cheapy places and pick up a puller for like 15-20 bucks.

 

Some AutoPart stores rent out specialty equipment.

 

If you have any Autozone stores in your area go get the puller from there. They rent out a bunch of tools at no cost, and a pulley remover is one of them. You just have to put down a deposit for the value of the tool, if you really like it you can keep it, or you can return it and get your full deposit back. Pretty good system if you ask me.

 

If you go that route just make sure the puller they are renting you is designed specifically for the Eaton superchargers. I've heard many times that if you try to use a regular puller you run the chance of damaging your supercharger. This is just what I've read though so I'm not positive that it is true.

 

They probably would've given you your car sooner if they didn't think you'd jack it up again with the ice over the weekend There's a meet on Saturday at the Peaks, and my Typhoon CAI is installed, I'll be there to show that off myself
