Failed Inspection - Nightshades tinted tails, help
Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knows of inspection places in dallas that will pass you with painted tails using nightshades. I haven't been pulled over for it yet but when i was getting an alignment they told me they would fail me because of my tails. Just wondering if anyone knew of a place off hand that would overlook it.

last year i went to a place off of 635 and 35 and he failed me because of my hid lights because the high beams didn't work and didn't say nothing about my taillights. He made me put my stock lights in and then said after i pass you then you could put the hids back in. I think the inspection thing is all bullshit. Next year i should have my florida plates, lol.

Anyone by chance have a set of stock tails laying around that i could swap on to pass and give you some money for helping me. Im actually looking on ebay now for some stock tails but they sure want alot as i wont ever use them and only need them to pass inspection.
I found a guy in houston that will sell me some tinted tails for $25 but i would have to strip the paint off and turn them back to stock. I might go this route. I just called a junk yard in dallas and left a message as they have cobalt parts so going to see how much they want for the tails which im sure will be higher than ebay.
