Then why are you asking where you can find a tuner shop if you can't actually go to it yet?

Just a suggestion, stop boosting it withoout knowing what you have. There must be some kind of tune to even get the car to run with the 60lbs injectors. You need cooling mods to help with with the 2.7"....smaller isn't better..old therory was 2.5"-2.7" made big power...now learned that COOLING the intake temps are the ticket. You are seeing 20lbs of boost because the compressed air is so hot, it expands and has no where to go. Cooling mods such as a heat exchanger, dual pass option 'b', hatrickstu mod and meth with help alot, and even lower your psi, but make more consistent power and no heat soak. Use the search feature and read, read, read.

OKAY update on the whole thing. so i threatened the dealership that sold me the car with a lawsuit that the car was a lemon. NOW after they have canceled my warrenty, they are going to get my warrenty back on and now they understand that the aftermarket parts are NOT the reason for the spark failure. So they have now given me a brand new car off the lot to drive in the mean time and have had the car going on 3 weeks to try to fix the issue. they now think that the ECU took a dump on the car and now waiting for a new one with a stage 3 or GM tuned ECU for the aftermarket parts that are on the car. YAY!!!! They are hoping that is the issue. SO i'll keep you guys updated.

I had the same problem with my car but i determined it was boost cut. I took the silencer out of my exhuast cuz i was having to much back pressure and got a new Downpipe with a high flow cat and it fixed it all.

I can assure you that GM will not tune an ECM for you. The best they can do is give a new one with the most up to date software. There won't be anything custom about it.

There are no tuners in OK. No shops that have a good reputation working on our car. I have researched this extensively. OK sux for performance anything.

*****OKAY UPDATE***** So the dealership payed for the tune replaced the 42# injectors, and it is still stuttering up top and to top it all off the belt shredded. So at this point I'm done with the cobalt and i;m going to request them to take the money i payed for it and put it towards a 09 cobalt ss.

OH and before the the belt shredded and the tune was complete it put 225 to the ground on a mustang dyno. So not to bad for 42# injectors, 2.7 pulley, intake and exhaust that the car is messing up.

thats the reason, put a 3.0" pulley on there. A 2.7 is way to small for those injectors. the 42# injectors are going static above a certain RPM (prob 5k+). They are not giving enough fuel.

we had the 60# injectors on it and when the car warms up it would flood the cylinders. that with the injectors turned all the way down. now the injectors we had put on there are actually flowmatched at 48.2#s and the afr is perfect. at 4.5 rpm the car stutters still. so at this point i'm done tring to fix this car and going to tell the dealership to get me a 09. and they can cut thier losses on the car. not me.
