I believe he will make a list and mail it to Scott/Chris so they know who all is paid, but just to be safe print and bring a copy of the receipt.

Plus it's Saturday yo, he's probably not even in the shop.

no need to reserve at this point for the tune, we are working out the details but as of right now if you want a tune just bring $250 to the bash and be ready to gain some hp

CJ takes paypal aswell. I have been trying to put together a dyno day but no one was ever interested. I was trying to gauge interest and get some suggestions of time frame but really no one cared.

Here is a link: DFW Dyno Day

another question I have is on our track run must we floor it the whole way I really dislike launching my car hard. I'm not out to brake my ride and I couldn't care less about track times.

If you don't go all out then no point in racing. You will have more fun on the freeway on the way there. Save the $. You're just going to waste gas and wear and tear on your car for nothing and it's one extra car out there that is not really there for much other than to just say they took some passes....and it will give less passes for the rest of us pushing our cars hard working on specific goals(RT's; 60's; ET's; trap speeds..etc) Not being mean but if theres a few or a bunch with the same thought......be frustration for the rest of us.

just doing passes for the tune man.
thats it. hopefully it will only take one pass. and as for just taking up a spot at the track

Flame suit on!!!! The reason I have no interest in pushing my car to its limits on the track is what is the point to be the fastest? there will always be people faster than me that is a fact so what do I have to prove by pushing my car hard down the track, nothing but a meaningless piece of paper with a time on it showing my car can go this fast. As for the people who do it competetivly I support you in your decision and the decision to do it on the track and I say stay safe and have fun with your car. I just don't want to put the added stress on my car to get a "fast" time slip. I like having a fast daily driver and If I even break a 14 second pass on the track I will be happy. With all this said I plan on doing
what craigk_c19 plans on doing which is taking it light in first gear an then ease into full throttle in 2nd. Will I get the fastest time NO but will I still have fun YES.

thats why it called TEST N TUNE not just racing only.
some may want to work on reaction time, some may want to try practice speed shifting w/a long straight away and no traffic, some it may be their first time to break in thier new car on a track, some want to run the track for their tune and then get retuned.

- one half will be strictly their to race otheres, best times, bragging rights of having the fastest balt ss/sc or turbo, j-body, hhr, etc at the bash.
- the other half will be racing for the fun of it or other reasons as mentioned above.

this is all about having fun and meeting each other not just serious racing.
NO ONE should feel/or pressured that they will be in the way if they want to go down the track for any reason, NO ONE!!!
i think scott if not most will agree with that. weve been doing this for 2 years and never make any fell they are in they way if they arent pushing their car all the way(WOT). everyone that goes down the track has paid to go down the track, so they can do what they want to do down the track.

now the thought of having a bracket race amoung us has been thrown around, then yes it will be for the ones pushing their cars to be titled "fastest GM compact at the lone star bash".

LOL I KNEW it was coming...it was not meant that way...but I did say it for a reason. I knew I'd be the bad guy for saying it but for every person not agreeing with me....theres a bunch more hoping that there are not a bunch of cars there not pushing thier cars and running 17's at 85MPH. (like I will at WOT trying to get used to this car) LOL

Thats IT!?!* 20+ people?!?* I thought there would be 100-150 cars.* NO?
