If anyone is interested in showing up your welcome to at my house in allen, texas. Will be working on a 98 supra twin turbo front lip kit, 18" gunmetal rims, bigger/better bov, DallasCobalt is prolly coming over to paint his stock headlights and put new speakers in his cobalt, prolly finish and wire up some guages in my car. We can grill out, drink some beer and listen to music and just help each other out. Anyone interested just pm for some directions.

thats cool. So your taking out all day and couldnt come over til night. Thats why i dont have a gf anymore. The one i was dating always wanted to hang out and it never let me work on my car.

well we are starting early morning til dark.

got one lense removed in the supra. Im taping it off now to paint it flat black, its chrome right now. Anyone know where i can pick up some 2000 grit. Last time i painted my car i used 2500 grit and i had to order it from ebay.

both lenses are off now. im done for tonight but tommorow morning i will start prepping them for paint. The lenses came off same as the cobalt, i cooked them in the oven multiple times.

 

Im gonna try to make it 2morrow, I should be getting my new strut brace in so I'll prolly bring that along for ***** and giggles. you got an address?

 

darkcobalt-bring over the strut and we can put it on, shouldnt take more than 10 minutes for front or half hour or so for rear. I pmed you my address and number.

well we finished matts lights, prepping and painting them and everything and he drove home last night at midnight. It took us 10 hours but i had alot of beers. Im almost finished with the supra lights, there all painted black now and the projector circle is rechromed and it looks really good. Im about ready to stick them in the oven and seal them back up. The stock lenses are perfectly clean since i polished them out with mcquiers scratch remover plus got a kit that goes on the end of my drill to buff it.

 

LOL... and on top of that I live at Coit and Spring Creek! haha... I'd loved to have come.. if not just to beam at the Supra, but I was out with the woman I love.

 

yeah screw girls. My last gf broke up with me because she said i worked on cars too much and wouldnt hang out with her 7 days a week. I thought 2 or 3 days was enough but it wasnt for her.

I will have pics of the supra tommorow with the painted headlights, clear blinker lights installed and wired.

Matt post pics of your lights when you get a chance to show everyone.

 

Fortunately for me, my girl loves cars. Doesn't know much more about them than that they are pretty and fast... but that still counts.... right?!

 

I need to seal them up better this weekend. There's some condensation in them, but they look great. I took out the orange lens, and put in Silverstar bulbs that are blueish but flash amber to stay legal.

 

lookin sexy. I think I wanna do the smoked rear lights and painted headlights.

 

Yeah, CobaltCpe is picking up 2 cans of Niteshades for us to both tint our tails and the side markers. I heard it's illegal to sell it in TX, and so he's getting it next week while he's in Florida.
