They have a five guys and suprisingly I get 4g on sprint o_O. Got drunk in a Byob strip club.

i havent lived there per se...i passed through alot,..not sure about the crime rate...when i was around that area it was cold and that was like jan-apr. I was driving between clovis nm and abilene....alot

jo jo, that steak contest is in Amarillo :facepalm: Lubbock is mostly dry and desert climate. It's also mostly an oil town, so get used to the smell. It's home to Texas Tech, which is one of the larger sports oriented universities (behind University of Texas-Austin, and Texas A&M). Can't speak about crime, car scene, or any other social highlights. Just be glad it's not Waco...too many people there drink the crazy koo-layed....

 

i work for a collection agency and i have never heard of lubbock before working there, there's TONS of people in debt in that town
