I just bought a 07 ss sc and am lookin for surrounding ss lovers, I used to own dsm cars so I don't know a lot bout these in particular. If any are around let's all meet up and talk cars!

That's a good question. I see some running around the Greensboro area. I met a dude with a Cobalt that had a 2.2 with a body kit and some bolt-ons. His car looked good and of course it was running so it made me want to stop and have a chat with him. Dude is in the air force though so not sure how often he is around.

Supposedly people meet at a Sonic down in Greensboro but I don't know when. Heard it from a guy that sold me his SRT.

What color is your SS? How do you like it so far? Has it been modded to your knowledge? What are your plans for it?

My ss is black, no mods aside from intake which was on it two days ago when i bought the car. As far as mods go i would like to get her to stage 2 and leave it at that since i am paying on the car, dont wanna mess her up lol! Yea i have a few friends in the area with srts and subis and evos, i think ive been out to sonic with them back.in the day but didn't ever really think about any cobalts at the time. Now i love them haha go figure. If we can get up sometime that would be great, I've got alot of learning to do as my knowledge is only on 4g63 motors and 5.0 , so deffinately need to get on that!

Where do you plan on getting the stage 2 from?

Planned on taking it to a Chevy dealer and letting them install their stage 2 kit and tune it. Ive read on here and see its more expensive but I feel like gm's tune will be better than a rando and run better so the price doesn't bother me as much, do you have suggestions?

I'm not sure where you'd get a "rando" tune from but I would suggest a stage kit from..

You're going to need a header and DP either way as the stock is restrictive but you will notice a big difference.

Ok i checked out all of those sights i like the price on zzp but what worries me is of the 4 reviews two mentioned bad tunes? This is a reason i was thinking of going gm route because i dont wanna run into any issues since its my DD. I do keep seeing posts about this kit being better but that scares me somewhat
