Hey guys, we need to try to get all then Central Florida Cobalts to get a meet going somewhere. I am hearing that there is supposed to be a Cobalt Meet in Orlando this weekend January 6th somewhere in Orlando. Can anyone confirm this?

Also, We should try to alternate meets if we can get them organized to every other month we meet in Tampa, then the following month in Orlando.


Also to any of my Tampa, Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, Apollo Beach, Plant City Cobalt owners:

I am apart of a group called Domestic Violence and it is primarily made of Cobalt's. There is 5 of us including me and we are looking to make a Cobalt Group and if anyone is interested let me know!

I would be up for some kinda meet but it would have to be somewhere a little closer to orlando cause right now we usually have a meet on friday night near downtown orlando not disney world, but if it was somewhere like lakeland or something i think that meet could be arranged depending on date, time and funds available lol

 

If you guys get some concrete plans for a meet, I may take a drive up there.

we usually do friday night next to the mall but that here in orlando

 

been to the orlando meet but wish there was one in tampa cuz the drive scucked and i live in oldsmar. . . There are a few cobalts here and there but never been to any meets here

 

I know that theres a lot of SS's in O-town and theres quite a few of us over here. If we could set it up to have a meet in tampa once a month and then in orlando that would be awesome.

I know that there's like 8 guys that I know and roll with over here in Tampa and we are trying to get something going on either her or there ya know?

So how about this, lets go ahead and say January 27th, its a Saturday, we can plan for a meet and now we just have to decide where its going to be.

we have been meeting across from fashion square at dennys every friday since the first one that had a turn out of like ten or twelve or so, but who knows im up for this friday again and as usual later the better or earlier since im off from work. and saturday the 27th could work for me have to see what the work schedule is like then but something could be arranged. and could always have it like lakeland or disney one time so the guys from daytona since i think that there is a couple over in that area could come

 

when was the first one

I'm thinking back at least 1-2 years when there used to be large meets there on saturdays and some fridays but people stopped going. I think you actually met up with my friends Rob and Mike (silver redline and red 2.4 with redline bumpers). I'd be up to meet if not this friday the next one or something like that over there, PM me or get me on AIM some time. EDIT: nevermind thinking of someone else with a Black G85, but I'd still be down to meet.

if a large group decides to meet up in this area I'd make the effort to be there with a few cars as well.

 

i do have an idea for this, we meet at the Racetrack(gas station) on the St. Pete side of the Gandy bridge, then when all of us are there we all roll in to the car meet that is right by the bridge......i think it would look badass with all of us showing up there at once

 

na there is 2 of us in o-town me and my nighbor around the corner has a silver one and there is a black one in westchase that i know we should all go to qsl tomorrow. . . .

I think if we could meet in lakeland we'd be compromising a bit and hopefully can get a better turnout. either way, the 27th should be good for me.

 

Ok, now that we are having people say theyt are good to go for a meet now its time to set a location. The Tampa guys wanna meet here and the Orlando guys wanna meet there and there has been a couple people mention Lakeland.

If we were to meet in Lakeland that is half way for just about everyone so time to decide.

As for my Tampa boys, I have 3 or 4 guys with SS's that every Saturday go to the Sonic off of Hillsborough and Dale Mabry then roll to the races and I am down for meeting where, even at the Race Trac then rolling deep that way but let's get this thing rolling!!

Let's meet on the 27th of jan in Orlando and from there we can come up with a plan to meet one month here and one month there and rolling to the races here and rolling to the races in Tampa. My buddies and I are ready to roll with this let's start this right and get a good club or group of Cobalt SS going in this area.

 

if you're smart you'll steer cleer of the races up here. there's going to be at least one very large bust coming up. the scene up here is too dirty with squids and bad publicity, especially after this latest accident with that guy in the red SRT4 on John Young (who I happen to have known it turns out). meeting up is one thing, but don't go out looking for trouble.

 

Ok, its settled. January 27th Cobalt Meet will be in Orlando. The February Meet will be here in Tampa.

StrretRev talk to your boys in Daytona and lets get it set. Pick a time and location and as for the races, I know personally I will not be doing that in Orlando and I dont recommend it really. But call your boys and Ill hit up mine over here in Tampa. Get my number from the ^^^^post and hit me back.

 

Damn, I need to come on here more often. You guys have been meeting at the Denny's by fashion square??? I work at the Circuit City right down the street from there.
