Feeler for summer meet north florida
 

im thinking of a summer meet up int he gainsville area at the itchnatucknee river and seeing what gainsville race way has going on and see if they can do a cobalt day or let us join what they got.

i was thinking late may early june, times are open, if your interested at your name

Depending on the date, and my schedule, I would probably try and show up...I would only be coming from ocala.

If its in mid june I would probably be able to go..Hopefully with a fully built ride :twothumbs

why dont you come to a jacksonville meet?

yeah It would be a sick if we took a trip down to FL, if we did that im sure we would have to push all the way down to S FL.

no im just saying im down and I would pay for there gas if they came....Josh is married now and is about to have a kid about the time we get back from Afghanistan so idk if hes gonna be up to it.

The black chick, They both drive cobalts so I cant wait to see the kids car lol. Josh is still planning on keeping his car and he wants to continue on building it but now he has to support a family so there goes a few K's. Seems like im the only one left to have fun lol I deserve it though after losing the car so many times lol

id like this to be set up in mid june, the problem is, when to do what. i know some of you want to hit the track, but thats not a big deal for me. dont ge me wront id like to see some of the cars on the track i just wont be running. and i like the river cause every one can float down and we can get to know one another, plus theres sites for grilling so we could bring out own foods.

i havent checked hotels out there yet but theres some in town. the other thing is where to find the hotel.
the river is 2 hours from where i live so gainsville and closer would be a good place to look. and on a side note the river is pretty cheap. 5/person and the rafts are like 5 dollars.

ill explain more as i figure things out and get a list of atleast 10 people going

Sounded kinda gay lol I say do a weekend thing.....If you have to leave then its no bigy because you can either come Fri.Sat.Sund that way we could roll around,go to track,Maybe go to a local shop and Dyno???

you can stay at my place to for a few days, im out at the beach area. fernindina beach, moved out the night before NC, got a spare bedroom. adam fields who was att he meet with us stays here alot on leave.
it might sound gay but besides getting hammered att he marina no one really talked to eachother at national speed, unless they all ready knew them

Yeah I agree, We should have had name tapes or something, We knew the cars but not the people. Also some of the cars that were at the meet no longer exist :bye: I know of 2 that are now totaled. Bright side mine is up lol but yeah I deff am down to going to FL...I have to see when were supposed to go on block leave after we get back.

I don't know about track days in June, or July for that matter. So hot out then, the cars hate it. My SS/SC lost several mph and et during the summer at G-ville. I usually quit going to the track around June and don't start going again till Sept. But I'd be down for some river floating, that is of course a 350Z is welcome in the festivities. Or actually perhaps the 300ZX will be road worthy by then :guns:

if you get the 300zx, you will be a guest of honor and unlimted access to my beer cooler. but i guess you welcome to come in the 350z providing you bring me a bottle of the sauce, you think john or lee would show up? i hate to have lee disapear on the river

yeah I hope it happens on the right time, we can do a huge road trip and go through Myrtle-Savannah GA-then onto Jacksonville FL.

Ive been itchin to go back through myrtle since I went there this past december to the house of blues to see a concert

John probably would. I know he likes to float down the river. As long as this meet is before the 24th I should be able to make it. On the 25th I'm heading to PA for vacation.
