Fun drives in AZ
There was a thread like this in the Team Integra forum, so I thought it would be a good idea to start one here.
What's a fun driving road in AZ that you know about?
A couple of examples of some that I've been on:
Apache trail: From PHX, take US 60 to Idaho road north, turn right towards Canyon lake and go till the pavement runs out. At certain times you'll get stuck behind a boat so plan wisely
I've also heard that the pavement starts up again once you cross the canyon but I haven't verified that.
Wickenburg to Prescott to Jerome to Sedona to Flagstaff to Snowbowl: Fun! Takes about 3 hours to do it all. We had lunch at the Haunted Hamburger in Jerome and it was really good! We decided to go up to Snowbowl and that short road was by far the funnest with no traffic and lots of twisties.
Mt. Lemon climb in Tucson: To much traffic on a Saturday, but this road would be a lot of fun otherwise! I've heard that there are lots of cops on it, but i didn't see too many that Saturday. It goes up to the ski area, then you can drive up to almost the peak. Over 7000' elevation gain. Saw lots of cyclists, those people were crazy!!
Coronado Trail: Start in Clifton and end at Eager. This is an all day trip. I went when I was going to a friend's cabin in Pinetop and heard about this scenic route. I did it in the Integra and it had some trouble at the altitude, so I really want to try this in the Turbo'd Cobalt! No pressure loss FTW!
If you know of one or find one please post. Top Gear decided that the best driving road was in Switzerland, but I'd like to stay in or near AZ

Gotta take the coronado trail from the most northern part then take it all the way down to the 70 then get on the 90 and take it all the way back up. And yes it is a very fun road, but the altitude affected me too, just keep it in lower gears most of the time and you're normally fine.
Thanks for noticing, I'm usually good with directions...I must be getting old. One step closer to the 30s tomorrow.
