Is there Colorado weather issues.
You know it can be 60 degrees during the day and 10 degrees overnight.
Summer is hot and dry etc.
So if I datalog in the winter, am I gonna run into problems in the summer or visa versa?
If so what are the tale tale signs?

Winter = more dense air which will mean more fuel. This would mean richer conditions in the summer (less dense air) which is more safe.
If you run a winter timing map in summer chances are you are going to knock.
Also, I would not go with a ZZP tune. If you are going to get a tune get a custom one from someone with HPT. ZZP tunes are canned and not the best to run. Unless they now have you datalog, tune, datalog again, tune again, etc. like an actual tuner would do.

So I should wait until summer to datalog?
I guess what I don't understand is why the stock tune does so well in all conditions? It's almost as if the GMS1 tune is indeed superior than all tunes same with the stock tune. I mean isn't the stock tune considered a canned tune?

True
Yes it is a canned tune but nowhere close to superior. If so superior why is it that when you get a custom tune you can net 30+ WHP and 40+ TQ?
Stock tunes are mostly conservative.

I have driven my car in 6000ft above sea level down to 5300ft above sea level in both winter and summer and haven't noticed any hiccups.
Then it seems having a custom tune will be greatly effected by a change in altitude or temp.
