Need sum help AZ

so i got the injen intake in today and was going to install it but i have the Secondary Air thing on my car which requires a 1in filter on it. i went to pepboys and autozone and neither had it, can anoyne tell me where i can find a 1in breather filter, any help is nice

I think Ive seen them at auto zone and checkers. But other than that not sure..

BTW Next time myself and chris(06blackbalt) are driving next to you on the 60 going west.you could atleast chunk up a duece or something dam.Didnt even look over lol

auto zone!!!! Also buy some putty and form it on the filter and let dry for a few hours. Make sure you cake it on. Then insert into the connection. I tired other ways and it kept on throwing codes. This was the only way it would work for me.

ya i did, i nodded lol, figured you guys didnt know me since i never seem to introduce myself if i see you guys, but i need help running my intake down my fender i have a short ram setup right now just finished it, anyone wanna help me tomarrow or tuesday? ill buy lunch

Did you guys know if i got radar'd at gilbert, i was to busy looking in my mirror at you guys and FORGOT about the photo radar? i dont think i was going 65 (i slowed down to let you guys get closer =)

i got one from autozone and when the first turn up started it make a vaccum noise then it went away after like 10 sec and havent heard it since and so far no codes and i took it on a 20 mile test run

isnt that where your 1'' plastic tubing that connects to you head suppost to go? to helt with pressure build up? or am i thinking of something els?

so my gf took my car to go get her pay check and she callls me saying my CEL when on, i installed my injen to short ram and ran for 50 miles with no CEL now today it throwss it, i wanna take it to a shop, but didnt know if anyone was free to help me fix it? im assuming it has something to do with the secondary ait thing? Anyone PLEASE!!

take it to autozone/checkers they check the code for free as of them helping not so sure..

Code was P0411 Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected

pepboys wanted 90 bucks to have a tech look at, i was like and fix it ? they are like no just look at it so i walked out after they gave me the code

i hate AUTOZONE, and it was free for them at pepboys to run and get the code for me, but the problem is with my SAI i think that its not getting enough air down the tube, i need help converting my short ram into a cold air intake and just need to find sum1 that will help me

Anyone free tomarrow that can help me solve this intake problem? ill drive to you or whatever, i want to get this done with, car makes a whoosh noise now when i shut it off. i cant figure it out so maybe sum1 else can anyone that can help is great. Off all day so let me know guys

Im purty sure that whoosh sound is normal.. Mine does that even to this day Ive had CAI for more than 45k miles. Never had a CEL. But its weird cause its common to have the problem not exactly sure the source. Ill do some research. Btw what city you located in im off..

mesa, but im in gilbert, chandler, and tempe like everyday but ill go within 30 miles to get this fixed, just afraid to drive and cause damage
