go for a used sv650 (or sv650s) if you gonna get one, '03 on (fuel injected) they are the exact same bike minus the abs and the lower plastics, wich you don't really need in that bike, plus they'll be way cheaper than a new one and insurance on sv's is close to nothing compare to any gsxr, I'm lookin for one (sv650s) to sport it as a track toy

sundays and mondays motorcycle dealers are closed (most of them) and check craigslist, don't buy a used bike from a dealer there's a reason they call them stealerships, lol, there's always good deals in arizona (bit of a drive but sometimes worth it)

reliable are idiots, I got mine from casa, get an approval letter from your bank stating, how much you good for and then go in and tell them, you'll walk out with a the car if they meet your wants
but as far as test drives any dealer will be fine I drove a tc coupe (even tho the sales dude told me it was a sc) from reliable, another coupe tc from galles, and the sedan from casa
here you go yakko http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/mcy/1159533424.html , http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/mcy/1157207518.html , http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/se...min&maxAsk=max

not really, I got my first bike in april 05 and in jun of 08 I had put on it, almost 20k, as long as it's been taken care of it's all good, my bike I got with 16.5k on the clock and it was trashed I got 22+k in it now and still going strong
just looked at the pics they owner sounds somewhat mature, the tires show about 1/2 inch chicken strips so he didn't ride agressively, it looks like it was droped at low speed it has a chip on the frame at the weld, and some scrapes on the pipe and upper faring, it seems like a good bike overall tho' I would offer 4k for it see if he's willing
my wife told me she would only give me 2.5k for a track bike "sighs", no injected sv will go for that price unless is completely trashed, (I need me a second job)
the second one seems like a nice buy also
