To all that attend the Signal Hill Meet ON Tesdays
I am on the Subaru forum all the time and I also frequent the Signal Hill meet every week. I originally extended the invitation to the Cobalts and Redlines. All are welcome to attend and show off their rides the majority of the people are mature and respectful individuals who love cars. Since I started this post I feel I have an responsibility to inform you guys about some issues. Due to word of mouth on other forums we have been getting more and more cars at the meet. While that is all good the sad part is that many of these people are being very immature. Cars revving their engines, littering, taking up 2 or more parking spots, driving up and down the parking lot , speeding and burnouts have lead to alot of negative attention. This is not a race spot. The people at the shopping center have been gracious enought to allows us the use of their parking lot for gatherings with the intentions that we be respectful to their property and their customers. When people start to violate the rules this attracts the attention of the Pigs. As many of you have proabably noticed the Pigs have been hanging out in the Starbucks parking lot scanning us. They see all these cars and their panties get wet just waiting for some to give a ticket to. Please dont be stupid, and tell your friends that go to the meet to respect the spot as well. Lets keep this meet going.
Thanks
Ben

KEEP THIS IN MIND GUYS LETS KEEP THE MEET GOING AND BE A BIT MORE MATURE. HERE IS WHAT WAS ON THE SUBARU FORUM AND I MUST SAY I AGREE.
Nothing really against having other cars come out and chill, but it's the people that drive those certain cars is what ruins the meet. i know i'm generalizing, but for this meet i think it's safe to do so. not trying to be a dick or anything, but once the cobalts and the mustang and and even some pt cruiser came in and reved up, all the evos and subies began to leave.
there was a cop there last night patrolling our area several times as he circled the lot, left, 15 mins later came back again, did this several times. and everybody was thinking, "we're gonna get busted cuz these guys like to rev and floor it here in the parking lot" talking with many of the subies and several evo guys (especially first timers), they didn't feel comfortable and said they probably wouldn't come back again. it was my second time, and i'm not sure if it's safe to come around anymore cuz of the attention this meet is drawing
Thanks
Ben

Sorry you feel this way. I decided to start a new post so all members interested in attending coulb be aware of a potential situation. This has also been posted on the evo forum, subaru forum and the srt4 forum.I was simply letting everyone know whats been going on. Since I started this post and frequent the meet regulary It is my responsibility to remind people what the rules are. Common courtesy is all it is, no one is asking or telling anyone to do anything out of the ordinary. Show up, show off your car, talk some BS among the other guys and have good times. With attitude like yours Im pretty sure no one will care is go or not.
ive been out there. and the only cars revving and burning out were subaru's.. nice little BOV'S. NOT. im sorry but for them to rant about the type of shat ive seen them do when i was there and point the finger is childish..

1st- Go ahead and delete one of your post. You posted the same thing twice.
2nd- By reading some of your other post on the forum I can tell that you havent yet gotten to the level of maturity and responsibility but judging by your post you seem a little young so I guess you will learn.
3rd- I will go ahead and explain this really easy for you. Some people have a little trouble reading and understanding. It looks like your one of them so here it goes for you really easy.
No one is singling out any group.(Ok maybe the Hondas and the V6/V8 Camaro Mustang crowd) There have been a few undesirables that didnt grow up and still think its "Cool" to race and show off how "Cool" your car is. If someone feels like showing off on their own then go for it more power to you. Negative attention is not what we want. I dont know about you guys but most of us are tired of being profiled and harassed by the pigs for no real reason. Meets like this are a gold mine for pigs the equivalent of Michael Jackson at a kindergarden. The less negative attention we recive the better for us. Like I said before I originally extended the invitation to the Cobalts and Redlines. All are welcome to attend and show off their rides. I was simply letting everyone know whats been going on. lol ben,
that is classsic.
Just to let you know. I got over it, i guess i didnt portray that information to the rest of the SCRLA guys *coughdubcough*, and as the pres. i would like to extend an apology for any wrongdoing the redlines (and the PT Looser) have caused. I know that this was mostly intended for the honda and v6/v8 crowd. There is no excuse for being a douche at the meet, by burning out tires and "showing off."
I mean, it is a 4cyl. Forced Induction meet, not a gas-guzzler/fart-can-vtaaaak meet. Now that I have my car back from the shop I will be attending the meet next tuesday. Thanks for reminding everyone of the ground rules.
