Wow this is funny, I also looked at it a few days ago also. I test drove it and just didn't like how it felt also. Just like you stated how many things did they take apart and so on. They offered it to me for $20,200 and I walked away. I ended up Purchasing a 2006 Black Cobalt SS. I am much happier with it and got it for almost half the price.

Wow. Well I am glad it just wasn't me then. Your right, there just wasn't something right about that HHR... that thing had to be a guinea pig for GM, especially just to auction it off with only 500 +/- miles on it. Grats on the SS though, wish I could find one for a good deal right now.
