I have a 06 ss/sc and I need help with my boost pressure. I bought m car used and is running fully stock. My boost gauge is only reading at 2.5psi wtf? I hear its suppose to read 12-15 depending on humidity or sumthing.my gauge was always reading at 2.5psi when I bought my car, but I had a problem with the gauge becuase it died out. After dying out I had my factory warranty replace my gauge, but even with a fresh new one it only read 2.5 psi. Any help or information?

 

might have to pull apart the SC. see if the waste gate is opening Properly

Check ur filter and see if it is badly clogged.

Now if I take apart the s/c will I have to retune? Or I should be fine?

but u will need SC fluid. or i can b something got sucked into the SC and the Screws anrent moving freely.....

try moving the pulley by hand. see if it gets stuck a little or not.

 

i would take it to the dealer if it isnt boosting right, i mean if its still under warranty, cuz they have to fix it no matter what

 

Factory warranty is no good now. I guess imma try to take her apart, now I have a project to run. Imma try to see if its the wastegate if not that I'm forsure also going to see the airbox. Times call for stage 2 and a new CAI, if only I had a few dollars on hand.
