california smog

so i need to smog my car but stil have a check engine light on cuz my tune is running real rich and i just don't have the time and money to get it tuned properly right now. current mods r dual pass, option b, zzps3 he, 2.9" or 3.0" not sure size, with 60lb injectors, zzp lt headers w/catted downpipe and tsudo cat back exhaust and k&n cai. my question to all of u is, can i just swap back to stock tune to go get smogged then put stage tune back on? will i b ok if i just stay out of boost? or would i need to swap parts back? if so can i get away with just doing the injectors and again staying out of boost? i have hpt so its not a problem to swap tunes. thanks in advance guys! stupid CA emissions!

Its gotta run all messed up with 60lb injectors and the stock tune. Just a guess but I'd say put the stock parts back on.

if the smog tech goes to boost when smogging , then it will fail ^_^ personal experience.

the usual donation is 200$

stacy knows someone .

or you can go stock tune, intake, inj. you can leave the pulley or go back stock size.

I have k&n with carb sticker so that will pass. I can swap injectors and tune no problem. But would rather try and tune it properly if I can do it real quick.

I didn't think they got into boost for smog

its legal, you are required to have a stock cat 10yrs.
the magnaflow is legal by itself because it passed the emission test, it is not legal to have it on your car since it is not 10yrs old

Will they really crawl up under there and check? Downpipe and headers painted flat black to make it seem a lil less obvious
