Cheap local dyno day 8/21 - Downey.
like obviously im biased.. but idk.. 210 with GMPP header and exhaust? and u did 215 stock?
i say no way..
and the guy said my air/fuel ratio was perfect...
but idk
and andrew... i finally figured out what ur widget is lol!!
though prepping the dyno for each individual car is where the mistakes are made.
there are key differences between the lsj and the lnf
ex: final drive
I recall a dyno event long before the lnf was around. There were three 2.8 pulley setups. All of which were drastically different power wise from one another according to the dyno.
Please don't tell me they used a sniffer @ the muffler.
lol.. i know huh? loud ass SC too...
im thinking one day ima get one of these

especially considering california being a tree hugging state. The readings would be majorly skewed considering its after the cat, let alone being a mile away from the collector.
Of course David, dont get ancy w/ me. I have no beef w/ you senor
We must not be on the same page of "which" improvement I'm talking bout on a dyno.
I could care less about some peak #
What I'm recalling is how shaun tuned Joey's entire powerband. To make a trq curve carry from 3k to nearly redline is a accomplishment and requires a good bit of knowledge on how to properly scale air to fuel through out the rpm range w/ a strong spark table to back it up.
So in my opinion, impressive numbers would be his 2.8 setup replicating the same prolonged power curve with x/y being greater. If it aint that, it's back to the drawing board imo.

only if you are going to tune it, otherwise a gms1 or 2 kit tune you will still be richer than stock and still not need a WB lol
btw david www.driftday.com $650 with a rental car haha
I just saw a raw" selling for $75 on the board earlier.
Per a little testing, a modified stock intake will suffice up to the 2.9 pulley.
The the 2.8 begins to push it
anything smaller and you have a reverse effect in g/cyl past 5500 rpm.
