I paid 18,200 for my 2.4. Only options were the Arrival blue paint and sunroof. Nothing else. I think I got raped too. Oh well.

I agree with most of that. I've not heard anyone say the 2.4 is second rate though and i can understand not knowing there are 2 different SS. I didn't know the day i purchaced mine either. What i have heard is questioning the cost because everyone knows the 2.0 should be substancially more. the 21,000 is a little high but not really out of the ballpark if he got it well equiped. but the fully loaded one for 22,700 thats really pricy!
not knocking Halfcent i know you did that on the chevy website. just kinda surprised at 22,700

I'm waiting to hear what kind of financing he got. I smell a 25% interest rate somewhere around here!
9% Interest rate

Oh and I dont really have anything in the car... I have power windows...ummma pioneer system which I believe they come stock with....ummm power mirrors haha I don't have much to boast for on the car...I like it though...I don't have heated seats...well leather seats for that matter...no sun roof....hmmm...maybe I got ripped...I hope not...at least I like my car though hahaha

Man that stinks. Sorry you got over charged. The 2.4L is a good car though. Yeah with auto,a nd a few more options, its a pretty pricey car. But yeah, don't let the dealer tell you the ss without the supercharged bade is supsercharged. At least ya like it!

Pictures!

i understand that...but just talk the dealer down. When i went to the dealer i told him this is the payment i want for a month for this many months and he said he couldn't do it. So i told him ok and walked out. 15 minutes later he blew up my cell phone with what i wanted

I have a SS 2.4 06 and paid 16,000$ USD out the door taxes included. And they still owe me 600$ for selling me something I've declined and canceled but never gave me my money back.

This is just sad. People really need to do a little research before buying a car, or at least take someone with you that knows a little about cars or something. Congrats on the car, they are great and you should enjoy the hell out of it.

$17.650 Brand new 2006 SS/SN, only thing it lacks was leather power seats. But I specifically shopped for cloth seats.
(It gets hot down south in the summer time, I can't deal with that noise. )
But I bought mine just as the 07's were coming in, so that probably helped. They wanted $21k on the sticker, but he immediately dropped to 19.5 without me even having to haggle him.
I think this dude should have bickered for a better deal

you DO realize that you have a certain amount of time after purchasing a car to change your mind and return it and lose nothing, right?

of course you would have to fix the damage though
