Dyno Day In April TBD-List needed
ok so after showing hahn the graphs and getting a good lol out of it... we have came to the conclusion that they def were not loading the dyno correctly... key sign's
1. almost 1200 rpm late on spool times
2. would not hold boost for ****.
3. nose dive in the upper rpm of graph were boost was falling off
4. trq curve perfectly mirrors boost curve (comes in hard then falls off fast)
5. in the beg the dyno tech asked me why it wont rev past 5k (no load to spool turbo)
this is part of a quote from hahn
"You need to get some load on that Dyno. Your torque should be coming on sooner.
And your horse power seems to take a dive on the top end.
What was the max numbers seen? I know the 285 numbers on the right aren’t correct."
to bad i already purchased these

Roots blowers are positive displacement, which means it just tricks your car into thinking it has a bigger engine. that's why the power curve is so linear, plus being belt driven yadda yadda.
you may not have noticed, but you lost a little bit of boost from that port job.
If only I could come across a photo of this time he did 04redline's a.k.a shaunmcdee's blower to purposely drop PSI.
i wanna know when are we going to do this again?
i have some ideas for more power...gonna take time, but gonna do it in pieces
seen a couple of 2.4L SC ideas. its gonna be cheaper and more reliable
probably end up with 260 whp
